  3. Problems with the EGR valve. If poor quality fuel is used, the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve can become dirty and begin to seize.
  4. Exhaust manifold. Problems with the exhaust manifold are common – it can warp and the mounting studs can break.
  5. Hemi ticking sounds. As with other HEMI engines, owners may encounter a characteristic sound described as “Hemi ticking.”
